Wonderware Operations Software

Wonderware Operations Software 4.0 delivers on the promise of the Wonderware System Platform as a comprehensive set of capabilities for Production Tracking that allow users to start small and grow to a multi-plant MES deployment while leveraging the open, object oriented framework of the Wonderware System Platform. Operations Software snaps into the System Platform and provides capability ranging from basic production tracking/genealogy to comprehensive WIP tracking; bill of materials; material definition/specifications; material consumption; lot tracking; support document linking along with traceability, genealogy reporting and analysis; step/procedure definition; inventory tracking; labor tracking; certifications; dynamic routing; equipment downtime tracking and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) calculations. Users can leverage all or part of Operations Capability and can apply this capability at a line level, area level, plant level or corporate level.

The Power of our Operations Platform is the ability to start small in size and capability. Users wanting only to capture material produced, material consumed, bill of material functionality, genealogy and extended production attributes can do just that using the new Operations Capability Object (OCO). The OCO object leverages the Wonderware System Platform to allow unsurpassed scalability and extensibility in an easy to configure, reusable object. This new object integrates Operations Software to Wonderware System Platform. The OCO extends the ArchestrA IDE equipment model to trigger production events and log associated production data in the Wonderware MES database (MESDB). What is more, once this capability is installed, users have the complete framework to expand their system to incorporate the entire power of the Wonderware MES platform - a piece at a time.
