As an industry specialist within Invensys, Ron Huffman brings both an extensive background in food manufacturing operations as well as in depth knowledge in the use of technology to drive operational results.

Ron’s 11 years of experience in food manufacturing and distribution ranges from being a plant floor machine operator to plant manager to managing the financial operations of multiple manufacturing facilities. This wide range of experience provided the opportunity to face the challenges of improving operational efficiency while decreasing costs. Highlights of the food industry experience include the following:

• Plant Manager - $100M Food Manufacturing Plant
• Financial Operations Manager – 7 Food Manufacturing Plants
• Director of Operations Analysis – 31 Food Manufacturing Plants and Distribution Centers

During his time in the food industry, Ron lead or participated in data related projects ranging from control system upgrades/installations to ERP implementations. All projects included changing the way that the plant workforce interacted with technology in order to perform their jobs.

In addition to food manufacturing knowledge, Ron has 10 years of experience in the software industry ranging from product technical expertise to sales management. Combining his knowledge of the issues faced by food, beverage, and CPG operations with knowledge in the use of technology to solve issues, Ron has a unique insight into how to provide sustainable solutions that allow World Class Manufacturing Organizations to drive Excellence.
