The Wonderware System Platform can be layered on top of any existing applications, regardless of control system or current HMI.  Leveraging this capability along with the object oriented, template driven System Platform development environment, manufacturing companies can quickly begin to capture Production & Process Genealogy from their existing systems by utilizing the pre-built operations templates that come with this out-of-the-box solution.  In a matter of a few days, a trained System Platform resource can install and configure the system to be collecting process data (in context of their production environment) and users can view this information via canned web based reports.
